| Abstract: | The key idea of revolutionary Industry 4.0 is none other than the Cyber Physical System (CPS). Its design and component’s are incredibly diverse, which makes system’s architecture extremely complex. This makes all CPS systems easily vulnerable to attack, which has serious consequences for our day-to-day lives. This thesis explores the topic of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and emphasizes their importance in the modern world. It draws attention to how CPS’s integration of network and digital components is a major factor in technological advancement. The difficulties brought on by the growing size and activity of networks are discussed, especially with regard to securing network systems from cyberattacks. In complex systems, hypergraphs have appeared as an intuitive and reliable method to illustrate high-order coupling interactions. Although there are lots of challenges to overcome when using highorder information from networks to critical node identification tasks and as well as modeling threats to mitigate the risk on any highly interconnected cyber physical systems. It is highlighted that simulating cyberattacks with hypergraphs is an extremely useful and very effective tactic for anticipating and blocking possible attacks. We examine the use of hypergraph modeling in threat analysis and demonstrate how well it can capture complex relationships between entities in a network for helping us to reduce the risk optimally. |
